Hello there! I’m an editor and current student of the RMIT Professional Writing and Editing program.

While I have always enjoyed reading, I discovered my love for editing while trying to draft my now-shelved YA fantasy manuscript. Writing a novel may not be for me at the moment, but I am very keen to pursue an editing career once I’ve completed my studies.

In 2021, I contributed to issue 211 of Metro magazine as an editorial intern. You can view the online version here.

In 2022, I collaborated with a photoimaging student in an editorial capacity as part of an RMIT cross-disciplinary project to produce a photo book. It is currently in the process of being published.

Every editor should be an avid reader. This book review website is a chance to showcase my passion for reading. It’s also a personal challenge to get me reading widely and thinking deeply about what I’ve read on a consistent basis.

I previously graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts, where I majored in sociology and criminology.

When I’m not reading in my spare time, I can be found performing bedroom concerts at the top of my lungs (to the dismay of my neighbours) or stress-baking.
